Endangered, Threatened, or At-Risk Wildlife Products

An important part of creating a sustainable future is protecting wildlife from extinction. To conserve species that are most vulnerable, TuttiReal prohibits the sale of products made from endangered or threatened animals as identified by the CITES Appendix I and the US Endangered Species Act, as well as some additional at-risk animals.

Some examples of prohibited species include but are not limited to:

• Bats
• Bears 
• Cetaceans (e.g. Dolphins, Porpoises, Whales)
• Chinchillas
• Corals (Elkhorn, Staghorn)
• Crocodilians
• Elephants
• Marine Turtles
• Pangolins
• Primates (e.g. Bonobo, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Monkeys, Orangutan)
• Protected Birds (e.g. Falcons, Eagles, and Parrots)
• Protected Reptiles and Amphibians (e.g. Iranian Spotted Newt, Lake Titicaca Frog, Tortoises)
• Rhinoceros
• Sawfish
• Sharks
• Seahorses
• Seals 
• Tibetan Antelope 
• Wild Cats (e.g. Cheetah, Jaguar, Leopard, Ocelot, Tiger)
• Wolves
• Zebras

This policy applies to all species and subspecies of endangered or threatened animals. We may remove animal products at our discretion based on an item’s presentation or if we receive notice that it may be in violation of the law. In addition, we may remove items due to the risk of harm to live, companion, or at-risk animals. It is each seller’s responsibility to know and follow all applicable laws.
