  1. Firearms

TuttiReal prohibits the sale of the following, including 3D-printed versions:

    • Grips, foregrips, and skins
    • Magazines
    • Speedloaders
    • Bump stocks
    • Auto sears
    • Picatinny rails and accessories
    • Assault weapon vise blocks
  • Cannons
  • Live, blank, inert, and unmodified ammunition, including empty casings, shells, hulls
  • Silencers and suppressors
  • Speedloaders
  • Digital files that can be used to create firearms or firearms parts

Non-firing ammunition and most storage, display, and basic carrying accessories may be sold on their own, as long as they do not contain prohibited items and meet TuttiReal’s Creativity Standards. Some examples include:

  • Cases and racks
  • Holsters
  • Wall mounts
  • Display stands
  • Non-tactical slings and bandoliers, including those for hunting rifles
  • Empty casings that have been made into jewelry
  1. Imitation Firearms

TuttiReal prohibits the sale of the following:

  • Any imitation firearm that fires projectiles with the potential to cause injury, including those from non-powder guns such as metal BBs, plastic pellet projectiles, or paintballs
  • Imitation firearms that realistically resemble actual firearms (even if a blaze orange barrel marking is present)
  • Digital listings that can be used to create imitation firearms or imitation firearm parts of any kind, regardless of realism or method of creation (e.g. 3D printing, laser cutting, etc.)
  • Any item that is prohibited under applicable law

Examples of prohibited imitation firearms and imitation firearm parts include:

  • BB guns and BB gun parts
  • Airsoft guns and airsoft gun parts
  • Realistic replica or look-alike guns, including toy or prop guns that realistically resemble actual firearms (even if a blaze orange barrel marking is present)

Imitation firearms that are unlikely to be mistaken for a real firing weapon by the average person may be allowed on TuttiReal.

Examples of unrealistic imitation firearms that may be allowed on TuttiReal include:

  • Non-firing miniature guns sold as decorative, ornamental items
  • Brightly colored or transparent imitation firearms or toy guns
  • Certain non-firing replica antique firearms, such as a non-firing replica flintlock pistol
  • Toy guns that feature permanently affixed blaze orange barrel plugs and that do not resemble actual firearms

It is each seller’s responsibility to follow all applicable laws regarding the sale of weapons, including firearms and imitation firearms. TuttiReal cannot advise on how to comply with the law. We recommend speaking to an expert or lawyer to ensure that you are following the appropriate laws. Moreover, items that are compliant with the law may still be removed from the marketplace if they violate our policies or create other risks for our community.

  1. Knives

TuttiReal prohibits the sale of knives intended for violence, such as those designed to be concealed or quickly deployed.

We prohibit the following:

  • Knives with ejectable blades, such as ballistic knives, and knives with a blade that can be propelled by pressing a button or other automatic mechanism
  • Automatic opening knives, such as automatic switchblades and automatic OTF (“out-the-front”) knives, with blades that telescope out from the handle via a spring or other mechanism
  • Knives that open with centrifugal force, such as butterfly knives, balisong knives, and gravity knives
  • Knives disguised as something else, such as sword canes or belt buckle knives
  • Hidden hand blades, such as knuckleduster knives, throwing stars, and fixed-blade push or punch daggers, or similarly designed closed-fist daggers with T-shaped handles
  • Any knife marketed as intended for violence. We don’t allow details or references within the listing title or listing description that describe the knife as an instrument for human or animal injury (with the exception of hunting knives). This includes describing an item as being intended for battle, personal protection, safety, or self defense. Violent content on the packaging, in listing photos, or on the item (blade or handle) itself is also prohibited.

A knife or bladed item which is not prohibited by these restrictions may be sold on TuttiReal, as long as it otherwise qualifies for sale and meets all applicable legal requirements in applicable jurisdictions.

As mentioned above, knives may not be marketed as being intended for violence. Sellers may instead choose to describe the craft, hobby, or work-related purposes that a permitted item serves.

  1. Hand Weapons

Items that are presented as weapons to be used to inflict violence are prohibited. This includes items presented as self-defense tools that are intended to cause bodily harm (even in a non-lethal or defensive context). TuttiReal does not allow the following:

  • Clubs or batons (known as billy clubs, leaded canes, nightsticks, and police batons) having features that enable their use for violence, such as textured handles, extendable sections, or are weighted, eg. with lead.
  • Rigid, single or multi-finger frames (known as brass knuckles or knuckle dusters) which are designed to protect the hand during a punch.
  • Kubotans and other self-defense sticks
  • Pepper spray
  • Nunchaku (nunchuks)
  • Shuriken
  • Tasers
  • Tonfas

Some survival and practice items may be listed if they are clearly intended for non-violent use. Some examples include the following:

  • Wood, foam, rubber, or plastic reproduction weapons for training or roleplay that are clearly marked as such
  • Bows and arrows
  • Monkey fists
  • Slingshots
  • Whips
  1. Hunting, Archery, and Other Weapons

In general, hunting knives and archery equipment may be sold on TuttiReal. However, we prohibit any instrument intended to be used as a weapon to inflict harm, like explosives or poisons.

When selling these items, keep in mind that there may be legal requirements surrounding the sale and shipment of these products. It is your responsibility as a seller to comply with any laws and/or regulations that apply to your products. We recommend that you speak to an expert or lawyer if you have questions about complying with the law.
